Arrest Report 11.3.11

The following information is provided courtesy of Avery County Sheriff’s Office. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Julie Ann Hilton, 30, arrested Oct. 25 for misdemeanor probation violation.
Alexander Paul Pendolino, 58, arrested Oct. 25 for resisting a public officer, criminal contempt.
Timothy Lee Blackwell, 41, arrested Oct. 27 for assault by pointing a gun, harassing phone call, possession of drug paraphernalia. 
Joseph Greenwell, 35, arrested Oct. 27 for possession/distribute methamphetamine precursor.
Ricky Cheyenne Greenwell, 38, arrested Oct. 27 for extradition/fugitive to other state.
Sherry Louise Hotsclaw, 42, arrested Oct. 27 for possession/distribute methamphetamine precursor. 
Matthew Horton Oliver, 20, arrested Oct. 27 for possession/distribute methamphetamine precursor.
Margaret Anne Quinn, 27, arrested Oct. 28 for failure to appear.
Jose Manuel Rangel, 20, arrested Oct. 28 for driving while impaired.
Trillium Alee White, 30, arrested Oct. 28 for speeding, reckless driving to endanger.
Billy Eugene Bales, 48, arrested Oct. 29 for simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, driving while license revoked.
April Lawon Campbell, 31, arrested Oct. 29 for felony conspiracy, possession/distribute methamphetamine precursor.
Karen E. Daniels, 55, arrested Oct. 29 for driving while impaired.
Tabatha Gwyne Hampton, 42, arrested Oct. 29 for felony conspiracy, possession/distribute methamphetamine precursor, possession of controlled substance on a prison or jail premises, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. 
Steven Ray Pruitt, 48, arrested Oct. 29 for driving while license revoked. 
Ryan Thompson Barbour, 21, arrested Oct. 30 for resisting a public officer, intoxicated and disruptive. 
April Michelle Miller, 21, arrested Oct. 30 for driving while impaired.
Travie Deont’e Preston, 19, arrested Oct. 30 for intoxicated and disruptive.
Joseph Elliot Thompson, 19, arrested Oct. 30 for consuming malt beverage/unfortified wine on premises with no permit. 
Sheriff’s Report

Methamphetamine production materials in home

Avery County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joseph Greenwell, 35, of Elk Park; Matthew Oliver, 20, of Elk Park; and Sherry Holtsclaw, 42, of Elk Park on Oct. 27. The three were arrested after deputies located items know to be precursor chemicals used in methamphetamine labs at their residence. Fugitive

Deputies with Avery County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop in Elk Park on Oct. 27. Ricky Greenwell, 38, of Elizabethton, Tenn. was an occupant of the vehicle. During the traffic stop, deputies learned of an outstanding felony larceny warrant in Carter County, Tenn. for Greenwell’s arrest. He was arrested and is held in Avery County Jail pending his extradition. 

Methamphetamine production materials found during traffic stop

Deputies with Avery County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop on Highway 19-E in Elk Park on the evening of Oct. 28. Deputies located items used in methamphetamine labs inside the vehicle. Tabitha Hampton, 42, of Roan Mountain, Tenn. and April Campbell, 31, of Butler, Tenn. were arrested from the traffic stop. Both were charged with several drug charges including conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
