Avery County Arrest Report 11.22.12

The following information is provided courtesy of Avery County Sheriff’s Office. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Timothy Harold Necessary, 30, of 18180 Phillips Road, Bristol, Va., arrested Nov. 13 for two counts for simple possession of schedule II controlled substance.

Robin Glenn Clawson, 41, of 114 Harry McGee, Elk Park, arrested Nov. 14 for exceeding pseudoephedrine limits. 

Frederick Matthew Grindstaff, 30, of 4497 Old Toe River Road, Newland, arrested Nov. 14 for expired registration card/tag, operating vehicle with no insurance, failure to apply for new title, expired/no inspection, driving while license fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag.

Jerry Dean Owens, 62, of 398 Turbyfill Road, Newland, arrested Nov. 14 for communicating threats, false report to police station.

Tammy Bowman Austin, 44, of 1285 Elk Park Highway, Newland, arrested Nov. 15 for possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule III controlled substance.

Jackie Allen Turbyfill, 41, of 147 Dollan Hollow Road, Roan Mountain, Tenn., arrested Nov. 15 for felony probation violation. 

Angelo Accetturo, 48, of 612 Rockledge Lane, Linville, arrested Nov. 16 on order for arrest for civil contempt. 

Joshua Lewis Flippin, 22, of 3923 East Pine Street, Mountain Airy, arrested Nov. 16 for breaking and/or entering, larceny after breaking/entering, three counts of injury to real property.

Andrew Tyler Huffstetler, 24, of 325 Kingsley Drive, Charlotte, arrested Nov. 18 for driving while impaired.
