Matthew Hundley / (matthew.hundley@averyjournal.com)

Avery County Agricultural and Horticultural Fair is just a season away and is looking for helping hands to help make this year's event the best celebration of Avery County agriculture and farm culture since its inception in 1993. This year's fair is scheduled for Tuesday through Friday, Sept. 10 through 15.
Businesses, organizations and individuals who would like to contribute to the fair board's efforts to provide a fun, educational fair for Avery County's youth and adults alike can sponsor any element of the fair. To learn more about providing sponsorships for the fair, call Jerry Moody at Avery County Cooperative Extension, (828) 733-8270.
