I would like to take this opportunity to recognize my sister, Tammy Jones, who has had an amazing week. On Friday, April 19, she graduated from the nursing program at Tennessee Technical College in Elizabethton, Tenn. She also was a member, and served as president, of the National Technical and Vocational Honor Society at the school. This past Tuesday, Tammy and her teammates from Tennessee Technical College traveled to Chattanooga, Tenn., to compete in the state Skills USA Competition. I am proud to announce that the team won the state competition, and will be traveling to Kansas City, Mo., in June to compete in the National Skills USA competition.
