Beech Mountain Community News 7.25.13

Jason Jones / (

I wanted to start off this week’s article with a very nice statement from the family of Kimberly Bunten: “We would like to take this opportunity to tell our dear friends how much we appreciate every one of you for all the many prayers, phone calls, money, cards and the food that many of you brought during Kimberly’s recovery, and for every kind deed. God has blessed us beyond measure with the healing of our precious little girl, and also with all the many true Christian friends who lifted us up in prayer when we needed it the most. Words just cannot express how thankful we are for each and every one of you. Please continue to remember us in your prayers. May the good Lord bless and keep you always.”
Beech Mountain Community Center will be hosting its monthly fish fry at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 26. We will be serving fish and chicken, with your choice of French fries or a baked potato, coleslaw, baked beans and your choice of dessert and drink. A fish plate is only $8, and a chicken plate is only $6. Come on out, and enjoy a great meal at a great price.
