New floor for Crossnore Meeting House

Crossnore Meeting House is undergoing renovations to replace its floor, which became warped after water leaks damaged the structure, according to Jimmy Childress, who is taking the lead on the project with the help of Scott Cable and George Dibble to remove the old floor, level the substructure and put new hardwood flooring into place. Town of Crossnore is paying for the renovation to the Meeting House, which serves as a venue for community events ranging from live music to birthday parties.
