The Neighbors Band brings soothing rhythms to Banner Elk Concerts in the Park Thursday

Banner Elk Concerts in the Park welcomes The Neighbors Band at 6:30 p.m. this Thursday, July 4, at Tate-Evans Town Park’s stage behind Bank of America on Highway 194.

The Neighbors Band has been performing regularly for the past 15 years.  Beginning at picking sessions in each other’s homes, the band has grown from these informal performances to regional prominence. The band has performed on local television shows, syndicated and internet radio, as well as performed in the Bronzewound Showcase at the IBMA Convention in Nashville and for each of the past five years at Merlefest. The Neighbors Band has provided the music for “Miracle on the Mountain” in Crossnore since the play began.
