Avery High School commencement exercises Friday

Avery High School will host its annual commencement exercises at MacDonald Stadium at 6:30 p.m. this Friday, June 7. In the event of inclement weather, ceremonies will be held in Avery High School gymnasium.

Speakers at this year's graduation ceremony include valedictorian Alexis Usko, who has earned a two-year associate's degree from Mayland Community College; salutatorian Lexi Lane, who will be attending UC-Santa Cruz this fall; and honor graduate Kelly Jiminez, who plans to attend college at the University of Florida. In addition, the Class of 2013 will be addressed with remarks from ACHS Principal Todd Griffin.
