Complete unofficial General Election results

Matthew Hundley / (matthew.hundley@averyjournal.com)

While the canvass of election results will not be complete until this Friday, Nov. 16, voting is complete, including provisional ballots, giving voters the complete unofficial results of the 2012 General Election.

Listed below are the national, state and local elections in the order that they appeared on Avery County ballots. Listed with each race are the results of voting both at the state level (when applicable) and the results for Avery County specifically, giving Avery voters an easy comparison of how their votes compared to the state overall. While these results are complete, they are still unofficial until the canvass can be complete.

If the canvass, due to be completed later this week, produces any significant changes in any of these results, those changes will appear in the next issue of The Avery Journal-Times.
