Halloween and harvest festival roundup

From ghoulies, ghosties, long-leggedy beasties and things that go bump in the night, to hayrides and trick or treating, Avery County has spooky or silly events for kids of all ages. Take the kids to the Grandfather Mountain nature event, attend one of several local “trunk or treats” or play Zombie Tag at the Y! The High Country offers plenty of big scares, little scares and lions and tigers and bears, oh my!
