Mountain Top Promotions returns this summer with its ninth Fine Art and Craft Show at the old Banner Elk Elementary school field, taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 4, 5 and 6. Admission is free, and parking is available on site.
“The shows will be full of artists and crafters coming in from all over the country to showcase what they’ve hand-made. Many are award winners,” Pat Harris, owner of Mountain Top Promotions, said.
The show features watercolor painters from South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia; potters from Georgia and Beech Mountain; woodwork from Dick Larson of Banner Elk; handmade soaps; metal yard art; photography; handbags; tie-dye clothing; furniture; jewelers; clay art; painted window sills; scarves; abstract glass art; and more. Food and snack vendors will be available on site all three days of the festival. For more information or to apply for a vending booth, call Harris at (828) 260-1041 or email (mtntoppromotions@bellsouth.net)
