Beulah Ollis Wise

Beulah Ollis Wise, 86, of Marion, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

Wise was born in Avery County on July 31, 1926, and was a daughter of the late James Tensley Ollis and Audie Vance Ollis. She was a member of Victory Temple. She loved the Lord and her family was her entire life.

Preceding Wise in death was her husband, Frank E. Wise; two brothers and two sisters, Ernest and Roy Ollis, Marie Ollis and Faye Beczek.

Saddened by the loss Wise are four children, Gloria Holland and husband, Ray, Charles Wise and wife, Dorothy, Gail Ellis and husband, Rick, and Jean Taylor and husband, Doug; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, at Victory Temple Church with the Rev. Pete McCombs, the Rev. Walker Toney and the Rev. Jimmy Upton officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to11 a.m., one hour prior to the service, at the church. Interment will be in the Old Nebo Cemetery.

Those desiring to make a memorial contribution in Mrs. Wise’s memory are asked to consider the hospice of one’s choice.
