H. Daniels, 84, of the Hughes community passed away on Monday, July
9, 2012, at Cannon Memorial Hospital.
A native of Avery County, he was born February 24, 1928, a son of the late Donte and Delzie Isaacs Daniels.
He was a hard working farmer and one of the pioneers of the local Christmas tree industry. Buster enjoyed hunting, fishing and baseball.
Along with his parents, Buster was preceded in death by; three children, Donna Vernon, Cynthia Daniels, Steven Daniels; brothers and sisters, Ted Daniels, Balsam Daniels, Ralph Daniels, Verna Horney, Maple Sells, Carmalee Garland.
Buster has left to cherish his memory his wife, Polly Daniels; son, Galen Daniels; daughter, Julia Carpenter; grandchildren, Chris Carpenter, Melissa Potter and husband, Jamie; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Buster H. Daniels were conducted at 4 p.m Wednesday, July 11, 2012. in the Daniels Cemetery.
