She was a member of White Rock Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. Rupard enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking. She loved all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rupard retired from John Cook Subaru where she worked as a detailer.
Rupard is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Andrew Rupard; daughters, Vickie Turbyfill of Elk Park, Cindy Bare and her companion, Eddie Ingram, of Linville Falls; son, Skipper Blair and his wife, Melissa, of Banner Elk; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral Home The funeral service was held at 8:00 pm Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lynn Shook officiating.
Family, friends, and pallbearers gathered at the funeral home 10 a.m.Tuesday to go in procession to the White Rock Cemetery for interment.
