Frank Edward Reece

Frank Edward Reece, 83, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away on May 10, 2013, at his residence.
A native of Avery County, he was born Nov. 14, 1929, the son of the late Elzie and Cindie Stansberry Reece.
He was a carpenter and loved working with wood.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie McKinney Reece.
A very good person who will be missed, Reece has left to cherish his memory his wife, Anna Reece of the home; daughter, Barbara June Greene of Elizabethton; sons, Ronnie Reece and wife, Donna, of Elizabethton, David Reece and wife, Dorothy, of Hampton, Tenn., Terry Reece of Elizabethton, Terry Bailey of Newland; sister, Sue Webb of Roaring Creek; several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Reece were conducted 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the Grandfather Chapel with the Rev. Gary Greene officiating. Interment followed in the Cranberry Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Neil Reece, Bradley Reece, Kenneth Whitaker, Austin Calloway, Terry Bailey, Ricky Thomas. The family received friends for one hour prior to the services.
