Henry 'Bud' Fabben

Henry "Bud" Fabben, 79, of Newland passed away on March 3, 2013, at his residence.

He was born May 16, 1933, in Mildland Park, N.J. the son of the late Gary and Johanna Mulder Fabben.

Fabben was a member of the U.S. Army and served in Korea.

He was a member of Aaron Baptist Church of Montezuma and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 37 years.

Along with his parents, Fabben was preceded in death by his sister, Arlene Abma; daughter, Beverly Strone.
A wonderful husband, father and grandfather, Fabben has left to cherish his memory his wife, Betty Fabben of the home; daughter, Bonnie Whitehead and husband, John, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sons, Glenn Fabben and wife, Nancy, of West Palm Beach, Brad Fabben and special friend, Jamie Snelgrove, of Lakeworth, Fla.; grandchildren, Elaine, Kimberly, Sara, Holly, Lindsay, John; great-grandchildren, Ryder and Easton.
Funeral services for Fabben will be conducted 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Aaron Baptist Church with the Rev. John Whitehead and the Rev. Dennis Aldridge officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Avery Medi Home Hospice at 436 Hospital Dr. #205 Linville, NC 28646.
