'Henry' Walter Warren Jr.
“Henry” Walter Warren Jr, 45,
passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Cannon Memorial Hospital
follow an extended illness. Warren was born Aug. 9, 1966, to Henry
Walter and Gertraud (Bauer) Warren Sr. of Frank,. He was graduate of
both Avery County High School and Mayland Community College.
Warren
enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and living life to its
fullest. He had a very kind heart and quick wit. You never left
Warren’s presence without a smile on your face knowing that he
enjoyed having fun, “Hunny!” He will be dearly missed by all who
knew and loved him.
Warren is survived by his mother, Gertraud
Warren; ex-wife and close friend, Melissa Crowder; two sons, Henry
Adam Warren (fiancé, Samantha White) and Johnathan Kyle Warren
(Destiny); daughter Makayla Shontae Warren (fiancé, John Porter);
brothers, Douglas Warren and Johnny Warren (Lynn); niece Misty
Penland (Joe); and great-niece, J’Leigh Penland. Warren was
preceded in death by his father Henry Walter Warren Sr.
Funeral
services will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Gragg and the Rev.
Roland Mullinix officiating. Burial will follow at Whitaker Branch
Cemetery. The family will greet friends 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March
12, 2013, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Frank.
