Jonathan Adam Mayberry

Jonathan Adam Mayberry, 22, of Erwin Lane, Newland, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at his home.

Mayberry was born Sept. 23, 1990, in Avery County, the son of David and Madge Erwin Mayberry. He was a sales associate for Carolina West Wireless and a volunteer firefighter for the Frank Volunteer Fire Department in Avery County.

Mayberry, was a member of Lewis Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Jennifer Woodruff and husband, Andrew, of Linville; his maternal grandparents, Walt and Esther Erwin of Minneapolis, and his paternal grandmother, Faye Mayberry of Elk Park. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bill Mayberry.

Memorial services for Jonathan Adam Mayberry will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec.29, 2012, at Lewis Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Minneapolis.  Officiating will be Pastor Jim Shoupe.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service, at the home of his sister, Jennifer Woodruff, 525 Linhigh Drive, Newland.

Flowers are appreciated, or memorial contributions may be made to the Frank Volunteer Fire Department, 699 North US 19E Highway, Plumtree, North Carolina, 28657.
