Louis Tennyson Jones
Jones served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and later was a building contractor and a musician. He was a member of the Miami Federation of Musicians at that time. During his retirement years, he enjoyed playing bridge and was a Silver Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Spain Jones; his parents, William and Euphania Jones; his brothers, John and William; his sisters, Marion and Jean; and his nephew, Col. Marvin Jones.
His survivors include Donald and Gladys Jones of Asheville; Jo Burleson of Gainesville, Ga.; Bill and Pat Jones of Ellicott City, Md.; Anne Jones of Merritt Island, Fla.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Private graveside services will be held in Salem, Va.
