Pearl Ann McGuire

Pearl Ann McGuire, 68, of Winston Salem, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11,2013, at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Parlier Sr. and Lena Storie Parlier. Also preceding her in death were brothers, John Parlier Jr., Wayne Parlier, James (Jim) Parlier; sister, Alma Sumpter and mother and father in law, Fred and Gladys McGuire.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her lifetime sweetheart and husband, Joe Allen McGuire; sons, Jeff (Lori) McGuire of Kernersville, David (Sherry) McGuire of Clemmons; two grandsons, Matt and Jacob; brother Mack (Dorothy) Parlier of Elk Park; sisters, Jean Cook, Elk Park, Mary (Charles) Smith of Valdese, and a host of very special brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Hampton Funeral Service with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service and burial to in the Cook family Cemetery in Elk Park.

Flowers were accepted or memorials can be made to Kari’s Home for Women, P.O Box 184, Vilas, NC 28692.
