Roy Walter Holtsclaw Jr.
Roy Walter Holtsclaw Jr., 49, of Roan Mountain, passed away on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012.
A native of Avery County, he was born
Oct. 4, 1962, a son of the late Roy Walter and Leoda Woods
Holtsclaw.
Holtsclaw attended the Church of Jesus Christ.
He
was the owner of Holtsclaw Brothers Painting and enjoyed working on
old cars.
Along with his parents, Holtsclaw was preceded in death
by his brother, Paul Lando Holtsclaw, and niece, Selina
Farmer.
Holtsclaw has left to cherish his memory his sister, Wanda
Holtsclaw of Elk Park; brother, Danny "Hawkeye" Holtsclaw
of Roan Mountain, Tenn.; daughter, Michelle Holtsclaw of Homasasa,
Fla.; niece, Rebekah Buchanan; great-nieces, Bryanna Farmer, Alexis
Farmer, Molly Buchanan.
