Lady Vikings celebrate Senior Night, wins opening round playoff match

Avery Lady Vikings volleyball concluded its regular season in style as it honored seven players on Senior Night on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Viking Gym against Mitchell. Players Aubrey Cromwell (early-graduating junior), Juanita Guzman, Kenzie Hayes, Bre Heaton, Morgan Lecka, Shannon Smith and Ashlie Yoder were recognized during a ceremony held on the court during the evening.

"These were some of the best girls that I've ever coached. This is a classy and good group of girls," AHS head volleyball coach Mitchell McKinney said.

McKinney went on to speak about each of his final-year players and their contributions to the Lady Vikings volleyball program.
