Late Patriots rally in rain stalls Vikings baseball comeback

Avery baseball managed to avoid the snowflakes and raindrops to play a Western Highlands Conference baseball game on Friday, March 29, at Madison. 

Both pitching staffs struggled in the rainy and cool weather conditions, as both teams put hits and runs on the scoreboard. Madison made its hits count over the final two frames, however, ending the more than four-hour affair with a game-ending home run for a 24-13 win in six innings.
