Local middle school sports have finally had the opportunity to take to the diamond in softball and baseball action. 
CMS softball drops twin bill to East Yancey, upends Bowman
Cranberry Middle School softball hosted East Yancey at Cranberry High School field last week in its first game at the park. EYMS showed why it is one of the top teams in the Toe River Conference, downing CMS 10-0 in the first game of a doubleheader and 17-0 in the nightcap of the twin bill on Tuesday, April 9.
