Run for Freedom 5K held at Avery High School

Higher Ground Church of God held its Run for Freedom 5K race at Avery County High School on Saturday, May 11. The event was a success to all who were involved, as 40 registered runners and walkers raised more than $1,500 that will benefit Emma’s House in Durham, a safe house for female victims of human trafficking.
