Second-half surge lifts Polk over Lady Vikings

Avery Lady Vikings traveled to Columbus on Friday, April 5, in its first game in more than a week to face the Polk Lady Wolverines. The Wolverines and the Vikings played to a scoreless draw through the first half, with Polk dominating the play more than Avery. The Lady Wolverines came alive with three second-half goals, however, to earn a 3-0 Western Highlands Conference win.
