Avery football looks to right its ship this Friday, Oct. 25, when it sails south to Marshall to take on the Madison Patriots.
The Vikings looks to rebound from a 35-7 defeat at the hands of Polk County at home last week, the team's second-straight setback. Madison looks to bounce back itself following a 44-26 loss at the hands of conference-leader Owen last week in Black Mountain.
Avery and Madison battled at MacDonald Stadium last season, with the Vikings falling by a 33-9 final score. After dominating Madison for the better part of the past two decades, the two clubs have split their last four meetings.
